Screen Printing and Embroidery FAQ's
Screen Printing & Embroidery – Frequently Asked Questions
Looking to customize apparel or gear with your brand or message? Below are the most common questions we get about screen printing and embroidery services — from artwork to pricing to turnaround time.
Products & Apparel Options
1) What types of apparel can be screen printed or embroidered?
We offer t-shirts, hoodies, polos, hats, jackets, workwear, uniforms, bags, and more. If it’s fabric, we can likely print or stitch it!
2) What brands do you carry?
We carry premium brands like Nike, Carhartt, Port Authority, Bella+Canvas, Ogio, Richardson, Gildan, Next Level, The North Face and more — with options for all budgets.
3) Can I bring my own garments to be printed or embroidered?
Yes, in many cases. Minimums do apply and we always review customer-supplied garments first to ensure compatibility with our machines and inks/threads.
4) What’s the difference between screen printing and embroidery?
Screen printing uses ink applied to the fabric surface, great for bold, colorful designs. Embroidery uses thread stitched into the fabric, ideal for logos on polos, hats, or jackets.
Artwork & Design
1) What type of file do you need for my logo or artwork?
We prefer vector files like .AI, .EPS, or high-res PDFs. For embroidery, digitized files are required — we can create those for you if needed.
2) Can you help me design or clean up my artwork?
Yes! Our in-house team can tweak, clean up, or even create custom designs to ensure your imprint looks amazing.
3) Will I get to approve and see a proof before production?
Absolutely. We send digital proofs for your approval before anything goes to press or machine.
4) Can you match my brand colors exactly?
Color matching requires a lot of experience to get your brand to look it's best on all types of products in many different imprint methods. Fortunately, our expert team can help you get best consistency possible.
5) Do you offer design services if I don’t have a logo?
Yes, we offer full design support — from simple layout cleanup to full logo creation and branded concepts.
Embroidery-Specific Questions
1) Is there a fee for digitizing my logo for embroidery?
Yes, there’s typically a one-time setup fee for digitizing. Once digitized, we keep your file for future reorders at no extra charge.
2) How many colors can you embroider?
Most embroidery machines can stitch up to 15 thread colors per design.
3) Can embroidery be done on any type of material?
Embroidery works best on mid- to heavyweight fabrics like polos, jackets, hats, and bags. We’ll guide you on what works best for your item.
Turnaround & Ordering
1) What is your typical turnaround time?
Standard turnaround is 7–10 business days from proof approval.
2) What’s the minimum order quantity?
Minimums vary by decoration type:
-
Screen printing: typically 12-24 pieces

Embroidery: typically 6-12 pieces
We can accommodate smaller runs in some cases — just ask!
