About Recognition Avenue

Our Story

Recognition Avenue, formally known as Ramax (pronounced Ray-Max), was founded by Raymond and Maxine in 1961. After years of working alongside his parents, it was purchased by their son, Stan Soash in 1983. 

​In September of 2019 Stan unexpectedly passed away. Stan was greatly loved by the community and customers of Ramax. His daughter, Paula stepped in to help finish out the open orders however in this process decided to carry on the company as the 3rd generation owner.
